TRAMP is a rock 'n' roll supergroup, consisting only of well known rock gurus from bands such as THE HELLACOPTERS, CAPTAIN MURPHY, HENRY FLAT'S OPEN SORE and TURPENTINES.

The lineup is:

Markus Karlsson - Vocals (Turpentines)

Stefan Brainstrum - Electric Guitar (Henry Fiats Open Sore)

Johannes Borgström - Electric Bass (ex-Captain Murphy)

Robert Eriksson - Drums (MIDLIFE CRISIS, ex-The Hellacopters)

Singer Markus Karlsson and guitarist Stefan Brändström had earlier been part of the band REPUBLIKANS, which at that time were about to end their time as a band. At the time, namely 2007, they sought a new platform for playing music together and tied up a rhythm section consisting of Robert Eriksson and Johannes Borgström. The overall merit accommodate participation in bands such as The Hellacopters, Henry Fiat's Open Sore, Turpentines, Captain Murphy and SEWERGROOVES. And now,

after three years of secrecy and with a slightly dazed countenance they make an entrance with their cocky debut album, Indigo, under their arm.

Musically, Tramp weave together decades of musical heritage. The melodies and harmonies echoing of the 60s, the attack in the performance has more of a 70s touch, and some big gestures could be from the 80s. Furthermore, they dig into their own story and weave everything together into something that lives and breathes in its own own time. It sounds quite British in a head-on collision with the US and then 60s psychedelia next to pure garage rock. Like New York punk rockers on a Magical Mystery Tour. Or a Damned who hack out some Beach Boys songs. And sometimes as The Who in their best pop moments.

The debut album, Indigo (Killer Cobra Records), was released in Sweden on April 1 to great media interest and amazing reviews.

On April 5th a big release party will take place in Stockholm, together with another Killer Cobra Records act - MÄRVEL.

Indigo will be released in Europe on May 2nd.
