Toronto's CONFLICTED release their debut album, entitled Never Be Tamed, on CD and digital formats today, April 12th, via Nightmare Records.

The band will be appearing live tonight on Hard Rock Radio Live, at 9 PM (EDT) for a special radio appearance at this location.

Conflicted is throwing a special CD release show on April 16th at The Rockpile in Etobicoke, ON. The show will also feature BEFORE THE DAMNED, 7TH REGION and JUSTICE PRIEST. The show is all ages and admission is only $10 at the door (no advance tickets). Doors open at 8pm. See below for the show flier and more information.

According to a press release, Conflicted is fronted by the astounding four-octave vocals of singer Jason Orton, who consistently delivers pitch-perfect tones rich with both ferocity and emotion. In perfect contrast, neo-classically influenced guitarist Mark Owen possesses a fiery, virtuosic stranglehold on the fretboard. Rounding out Conflicted are the symphonic atmospheres created by Ron De Coste’s masterful keyboard work, the complimentary melodic undertones of bassist John Kolodziej, and the precision percussive onslaught of drummer Corey Stoll.

Conflicted was named Best Metal Band at the 2010 Toronto Independent Music Awards and also earned three prominent ImageFM Radio 2010 Annual Independent Music Awards (Male Vocalist Of The Year, Guitarist Of The Year And Progressive Single Of The Year). The band will be touring throughout 2011 in support of their debut album, and dates will be announced as they are confirmed.
