Hollywoodlife.com has confirmed that POISON singer BRET MICHAELS' new solo album, Get Your Rock On, will be available June 14 - just one week after he kicks off his summer tour with MÖTLEY CRÜE on June 7th in Dallas.

“Bret has been working on the album like crazy,” our source says. “It will have a country influence and he’s worked with some pretty cool people on it.”

Bret has called his sixth solo album “harder” than his past albums and said his influences were GARTH BROOKS, JOHN MELLENCAMP, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and AEROSMITH.

“This one is primarily straight-up rock songs, which I think people will like,” Bret has said. “I’ve written a lot of good stuff over the last few years that I think are just good rock songs. I feel really strong about it.”

According to Contactmusic.com, Michaels' duet with MILEY CYRUS has finally been given a release date, but the song will only be made available in Australia.

The unlikely collaborators teamed up in the studio last year to record a new version of Poison classic 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'.

The song was set for general release this year, but Michaels recently revealed it was scrapped when Cyrus' parents split and he was falsely linked to her mother, Tish.

The song is now set to hit airwaves this summer - but a representative for Cyrus has confirmed the track will only be released Down Under to promote her upcoming Gypsy Heart tour.

The rep tells E! News, "(It will be released) in conjunction with Miley's upcoming tour there. It is Australia only."

'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' will be released in Australia shortly before Cyrus' first concert in the country in Brisbane on June 21st.
