Estonian bass death metal band NEOANDERTALS have issued the following update:

"There are some very good announcements to make.

First, we would like to welcome Reivo Orav on second bass into Neoandertals. Built like a Neanderthal, Reivo Orav is a former kick-boxer and bass enthusiast who is the perfect addition to the band. Our rehearsals already sound insane with two finger playing bassists and we can't wait to bring this energy to the stage.

Secondly, as of April 13th, our second studio album, entitled Ebu Gogo Gutting The Child, is released through Kunaki. Inspired by Worm & Barnes and an article released in the "New Scientist", "Ebu Gogo Gutting the Child" explores the dark side of the little hunter hominid Homo floresiensis, who kidnapped human children to defile and eat them.

It was recorded from October 2010 up until Janauary 2011 and features Rain Pohlak on basses and vocals and Sandra Vungi on drums. Reivo Orav joined the band after the recording was done, so he does not play on this album yet. The artwork, mixing and mastering was done by Rain Pohlak."
