Report: Unfair To Blame BACKYARD BURIAL Singer Matthew Hall's Murder On Metal

According to Newstalk ZB, death-metal fans say blaming BACKYARD BURIAL singer Matthew Hall's murder on the music he liked is 'unfair'.
It's alleged Mr. Hall was murdered by fellow metal singer Timothy Parlane, who was last month hit by a train and killed near Kaiwharawhara.
A woman dating Mr. Parlane at the time says he confessed his guilt to her after being questioned by police.
Wellington death metal musician Ben Payne says the public shouldn't be blaming the music.
"I think it would be unfair to say it's got something to do with the whole metal scene in Wellington because everybody in the scene is awesome and really genuine people," he told Newstalk ZB.
