MODERN SUPERSTAR s currently out on the road in support of their debut release, Under My Skin, due out May 3rd on Jamsync Music.

Drummer Ryche Green checks in from the road. "The Gin Mill - Ft. Wayne, Indiana - This was the first day we were meeting up with our new tour manager (TM) Tommy Chandler. Upon our arrival and to our surprise we had some pretty wicked cool hotel rooms (No thanks to DMI). After a quick rally we got our game plan together and then off to the rooms for a little R&R.; Wake, shower, get ready and off to the venue by 7:30pm. Here is where it really gets twisted!

We arrived to a nice huge billboard/marquee only to have it read..."Tonight the Bulletboys featuring Britny Fox frontman Jamie Fletcher on vocals performing as... wait for it... Modern Superstar". We all had a big laugh and thought it was funny as hell but, we had to request they change it.

Once inside, we met with the owner, promoter, sound tech and all the bar staff that would take care of us throughout the night and that they did. We got the full royal treatment. A huge thanks to all at the Gin Mill!

To our surprise the direct support was THE SMOKING GORILLAS, featuring Billy Youngblood from DAYS OF THE NEW. Billy actually joined us on stage for 'Smooth Up' and did a great job by the way and it only cost him a tambourine:) The night ended with a bang including the openers, the owner, staff and many fans having some after party drinks, such good times!

Back to the hotel by 4 AM. Our TM gave us a 9 AM lobby call so we could be off to the next show in Ohio. A little hazing and welcoming committee requested his room to get a 5 AM wake up call! All in the name of good ole' rock and roll!"

Modern Superstar recently revealed the artwork and tracklisting for Under My Skin. Previously titled I Part Saint II Parts Sinner, Under My Skin was re-recorded at The Recovery Room in Arkansas. The album was produced by Ty Sims (BOMBAY BLACK), and is due for release via Jamsync Music in May.
