According to Digital Spy, POISON singer Bret Michaels has been confirmed to replace Jerry Seinfeld at the upcoming charity golf tournament to benefit the St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Seinfeld pulled out of the 5th Annual Eric Trump Foundation Golf Invitational on Thursday, claiming that he had become "increasingly uncomfortable" with Donald Trump's questioning of Barack Obama's citizenship, instead opting to make a financial contribution to the organization.
Michaels was later asked to step in and accepted the offer, telling HollywoodLife in a statement: "Donald Trump and his family have been wonderful to me, and St Jude's Children's Hospital is one of my favorite charities, so I'm honored to have been asked by Eric and the rest of the Trump family to be a part of this event and help raise money for such an admirable cause."

Michaels' new solo album, Get Your Rock On, will be available June 14th - just one week after he kicks off his summer tour with MÖTLEY CRÜE on June 7th in Dallas.
“This one is primarily straight-up rock songs, which I think people will like,” Michaels has said. “I’ve written a lot of good stuff over the last few years that I think are just good rock songs. I feel really strong about it.”
