OST Cultural Association has announced the second edition of the festival Ost Mountain Fest. The event will take place, this year, at Rasnov, Brasov County, on 22-24 of July 2011 weekend.

The following bands are confirmed: SAMAEL, E-FORCE, THE WAY OF PURITY, BOLTHARD, SPIRITUAL RAVISHMENT, FEN, SINCARNATE,, MEDIOCRACY, DAMNED SPIRITS’ DANCE, L.O.S.T., APA SIMBETII, TRUE MIND, KA GAIA AN.

According to a press release, the Ost Mountain Fest will be held in the courtyard of the fortress Rasnov, an excellent location, stylish and offers all facilities in terms of access, the camping site and parking, and tourist targets in the vicinity.

Rasnov Citadel was built around the year 1215 by the Teutonic Knights and it was mentioned for the first time in 1331. The citadel was conquered only once in its history, around the year 1600 by Gabriel Báthory.

Rasnov Fortress (Rosenau in German), is located on a rocky hilltop in the Carpathian mountains, 200m above the town of Rasnov in Romania. It is 15 km southwest of Brasov and also about 15 km from Bran Castle. The fortress is on the Bran Pass, a trade route connecting Wallachia with Transylvania. The view from the top of the castle hill is spectacular.

Bran Castle, situated near Bran and in the immediate vicinity of Bra?ov, is a national monument and landmark in Romania. The fortress is situated on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. Commonly known as "Dracula's Castle", it is marketed as the home of the titular character in Bram Stoker's Dracula. There is, however, no evidence that Stoker knew anything about this castle, which has only tangential associations with Vlad III, voivod of Wallachia, the putative inspiration for Dracula.
