TRIVIUM Frontman Discusses Upcoming Album on Metal Injection Livecast; Release Date Confirmed

The Metal Injection Livecast welcomed special guest Matt Heafy, guitarist of TRIVIUM, who called into the show this week. Matt discussed the band's upcoming release, what fans could expect from the sound of the record, and revealed the current scheduled US release date for the album will be Tuesday, August 9th. Matt also took questions from Trivium fans, and shed light on advice for younger players looking to start bands and his opinion of the state of the music industry.

Trivium have been recording their follow-up to 2008's Shogun album at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, FEAR FACTORY) and Martin "Ginge" Ford. The band's fifth album is due out August 9th via Roadrunner Records
