CLUTCH and Weathermaker Music have announced the details of the veteran band's first ever acoustic in-store performance, which will also mark their first in-store signing appearance in over five years.

This very unique event will take place on Saturday May 28th at Earshot Music & Movies during Clutch's North American headlining tour-stop in Greenville, SC. The band will perform a set of acoustic style music mostly from their Basket Of Eggs project from the Blast Tyrant deluxe reissue, prior to their concert at The Handlebar that evening.

The charitable food pantry Loaves and Fishes will also be on-site that afternoon collecting canned food and non-perishables for the regions recent weather related victims. Earshot and Weathermaker Music will set up a large "Food Basket" inside the retailer and those who donate a canned or non-perishable food item will receive a free Clutch tour poster and be first in line to have it autographed by the band after their acoustic performance.

In its first six days on the shelves, Clutch's Blast Tyrant deluxe reissue sold close to 3000 copies nationally, landing it an upper echelon re-debut at #26 on the Billboard Hard Rock Top 100, more than seven years after the original version debuted at #15 . The double disc package, which features the Basket Of Eggs bonus CD, triumphed in the North-East, where it broke into the Top 10 at the mammoth Newbury Comics chain, and was the #1 selling double disc.

Clutch will be kicking off their nine date headlining tour beginning May 20th in Reading, PA to promote their forthcoming Basket Of Eggs project, as well as serving as an extended warm up run for their large scale European Festival tour in June. The ten day south-eastern US run (dates below) will feature MAYLENE & THE SONS OF DISASTER as main support. Clutch will keep the average ticket price for these shows to a fan friendly $17.50.

Clutch have also confirmed a headlining run for this July with CORROSION OF CONFORMITY serving as direct support. The tour will kick off with two special shows in the New York area. The first show is on July 20th at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY. The following evening Clutch will be playing a special show in New York City aboard The Jewel Cruise ship on the Hudson River as part of the Rocks Off Boat Cruise Series".
