MARIONETTE Announce European/UK Tour With DEAD BY APRIL; New Drummer And Teaser Track Revealed

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal sextet MARIONETTE has announced that it will hit the road with DEAD BY APRIL on The SlaughTour 2011. trek, which will see both bands premier new material from their respective autumn releases, marks the first time the two pair up for shows in Europe and the UK.

The SlaughTour 2011 will also be the first tour for new Marionette drummer Jimmie Olausson who will make his live debut with the band on May 27th at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg.

Earlier this year Marionette completed work on its yet-to-be-titled third album, which was recorded at Studio Fredman with producer Fredrik Nordström (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR, AT THE GATES), mixed by Dead By April songwriter Pontus Hjelm at Studio PH in Gothenburg, and mastered by Erik Broheden (RAMMSTEIN, TURBONEGRO, WITHIN TEMPTATION) at Masters of Audio Studio in Stockholm Sweden.

The album features the bands most diverse, “dynamic”, “mature,” and intense material recorded to date according to guitarist and backing vocalist Aron Parmerud.
