SINISTER Cancel Metal In The Forest Festival Appearance

Dutch death metal masters SINISTER’s lead singer Aad Kloosterwaard has posted the following update:
“To all Mexican fans, I am really sorry to tell you that Sinister is not able to play the Metal In The Forest Festival this year.The reason that we have to cancel is… that some members are not able to leave their work... we did everything to make it work but at the end it didn’t work out.
I feel really bad about this because, I was so looking forward to come to Mexico again and meet all our fans after a really long time.
And there was another thing, this was also the last show in this lineup from Sinister, so for a lot of people the last chance to see us playing in this formation.
But don’t be afraid the band will go on with a new lineup and will let the Sinister flame burn for some more years to come.
Thanks a lot for your understanding.”
The Metal In The Forest Fest is taking place now (May 21st) and wraps up tomorrow, May 22nd in Toluca, Mexico.
Lineup for the festival is now as follows, EXHUMED, GAMA BOMB, LA APUESTA, MARDUK, PATHOLOGY, RAGE, SCORCHED EARTH, VIOLATOR, WATAIN.
