The Thunder Chariot is gearing up to speed across stormy skies to bring The Rock Warrior, THOR, to select Scandinavian cities to debut the new movie and soundtrack, Thor: The Rock Opera.

Also, THOR AND THE IMPS will reunite as part of the new Thor: The Rock Opera live show, which will follow the movie.

Thor And The Imps first united as a band in 1976 when Jon Mikl Thor took legendary guitarist Frank Soda to Toronto for a series of concerts. As part of the show, Thor would pick Frank up over his head while he played guitar and throw him into the audience. Thor And The Imps grabbed the attention of KISS's manager, Bill Aucoin who invited them to open for KISS at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. The band went on to record the album, Musclerock, in 1976 which will be re-released exclusively for the Muskelrock Festival 2011. The Swedish festival was named after that album and in honour of Jon Mikl Thor, "King Of Muscle Rock".

The adrenaline-pumping live show will be divided into three parts showcasing the ‘70s era, the ‘80s era, and the current era. Thor promises a fast paced, highly entertaining concert!

Thor will thunder into a show at DOM (The Dome) – an ancient Opera House that has been converted into a multi-media theatre – in Helsinki, Finland on June 1st. Then Jon Mikl Thor will host the Thor International Film Festival – which will feature Thor: The Rock Opera and include Rock ‘N Roll Nightmare, Zombie Nightmare, Recruits, and more – in Tyrolen, Alvesta, Sweden from June 2nd through 4th, where he will also MC the Musklerock Festival and perform a live concert.
