Guitar World Magazine caught up with AMON AMARTH guitarists Johan Söderberg and Olavi Mikkonen for the July 2011 issue of the publication. In the bonus video footage found below, the duo discuss their gear and demonstrate how to play the intro to 'War Of The Gods' from their new album, Surtur Rising.

Amon Amarth recently checked in with the following update:

"Yes, it is true! We are coming back to tour North America. The spring tour turned out to be so successful, and we had such a great time playing the double sets each night, that we decided to bring ”An Evening With Amon Amarth” to the rest of the continent, including Canada! We will perform the new album in its entirety, and after that we’re doing a revised second set with all the classics as well as some ”wild-cards”."
