Former HAMMERFALL/current BLACK bassist Magnus Rosén has announced that his last solo album, Past Future, will be released worldwide in June via Naxos. It's the first solo bass album in the world featuring a symphony orchestra.

Check out newly-released footage of Rosén from his Musikstationen workshops in Gothenburg, Sweden earlier this year:

As previously reported, Rosén says "Black will be ready to rock live 2012."

Black also features former BLACK SABBATH singer Tony Martin, KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy LaRocque and drummer Danny Needham (VENOM).

Black have been writing material at LaRocque's Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden and in England.

Tony Martin mentioned recently that "the first song that came together was called 'Deathless Soul'... it all sounds very dark but I don't expect it to be completely in that vein."

Check out a photo below of Rosén, Martin and LaRocque in Sweden in late February.
