Artisan News reports:

"Because you asked for it, we bring you the complete MÖTLEY CRÜE press conference from Bamboozle where they talked about playing 'Too Young To Fall In Love', 'Smoking In The Boys Room', tour mates the NEW YORK DOLLS and POISON, and Tommy's rollercoaster drums."

MSO has announced that they have joined forces with Mötley Crüe, as they prepare to hit the road this summer for their 45+ date headlining tour with support from Poison and special guests New York Dolls (see the tour dates below).

The set list for this outing has been decided entirely by the fans as the band conducted a survey listing every song they’ve ever recorded and had fans vote at Motley.com for the final set list, which will include tracks the band hasn’t performed live together in almost 20 years. Fan input and integration has played a key role in this tour from the start as the fans were the ones who voted to have Poison as the main support. This pairing is not-to-be-missed as it is the first time these two iconic rock bands will tour together.

Mötley Crüe has also announced the band’s new “360” drum rollercoaster, which will feature drummer Tommy Lee being launched into multiple loops while continuing to perform during his drum solo. The band’s veteran production manager and set designer Robert Long, described the tour’s set design as “…a hard-hitting Crüe rendition of a rock n’ roll burlesque theatre…” and says the entire stage will be enveloped in red velvet drapery and a damask printed wall of guitar amps.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, the quartet - Vince Neil (vocals), Mick Mars (guitars), Nikki Sixx (bass) and Tommy Lee (drums) - has commandeered the rock pantheon for over 30 years. In that time, they have accumulated worldwide album sales exceeding 80 million (25 million in the US), seven platinum or multi-platinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, six Top 20 pop singles, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, three Grammy nominations for Best Hard Rock Performance, a New York Times bestselling memoir, and two dozen turf tours logging more than 1,350 live gigs across the globe to date.

The “original bad boys of rock” have put out nine studio and two live albums, six compilation CDs, three box sets, nine DVDs and 24 singles with accompanying music videos. They’ve played to millions of fans around the world, adding this summer’s tour to recent successful outings including Crue Fest 1 and 2 taking out such notables as SIXX: AM, GODSMACK, BUCKCHERRY, PAPA ROACH, THEORY OF A DEADMAN and many others. On August 18th, 2011, they will be honored at the 4th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles, CA which celebrates the iconic strip where they began their road to superstardom.
