British thrashers EVILE have unveiled a brand new track, titled 'Eternal Empire'. The new track is taken from the band's forthcoming new album, and gives fans their first glimpse at the new material. The new album, Five Serpent's Teeth, is due to be released on September 26th. Listen to 'Eternal Empire' now at this location.

Guitarist Ol Drake comments: "It is with great pleasure that we can release 'Eternal Empire' from our upcoming Five Serpent's Teeth album for your listening pleasure. It was very difficult to pick a single track to showcase the vast diversity included on this album, and I think this one is a good medium to show the direction we have gone with on FST. I can't wait for you to hear more of the album as, like I said, this album goes through quite a lot of different moods and emotions, in terms of feel and direction, yet is still rooted in the 'Evile sound'. The awesome Daniel P. Carter of Radio 1's Rock Show will be playing the radio debut of the track tonight on BBC Radio 1, so tune in! We will also be showcasing another brand new track at Download Festival this weekend. Lots of Serpent's Teeth coming your way! See you on that road soon!"

Ol Drake recently created a number of instructional guitar videos, showing fans how to play some of the band's most well-known tracks.

Ol comments: "I get a lot of people asking me to tab out Evile songs, but I don't have the time. This led me to take a look at the guitar tabs that were up online. I love that people have taken the time to tab our songs out, but there are mistakes, so I thought why not show people all the little details that are always missed. I don't want to do too many, as I think it's hugely beneficial to spend the time learning things by ear."

- 'Time No More'

In a recent interview with NME.com, Ol Drake revealed that the new album will feature a song inspired by the group's late bassist Mike Alexander, who passed away in 2009 due to a blot clot on his lungs.

Drake: "It goes without saying that there would be some element of the new album which was for Mike alone. We had a few ideas floating around which were out of the ordinary for Evile, and when Mike passed away those ideas just started to make more and more sense. 'In Memoriam''s initial intention was for Mike and Mike alone. All of us in the band have different views and thoughts on what the song means and who it is for, but it was born out of a want to include something special for Mike, his family and ourselves.

As the song grew it started to take on a life of it's own, so to speak. It is for anyone who's lost anyone close to them. There is a lot of meaning behind this song, and I expect a few people will question Evile doing such a song, but if the sentiment isn't understood, I couldn't care less. As our producer, Russ Russell said: 'It's a brilliant song for a brilliant guy.'"
