PATHOLOGY began recording their new album today, June 27th. The band have entered San Diego's Lambesis Studios, owned by AS I LAY DYING vocalist Tim Lambesis, to record the follow-up to last year's Legacy Of The Ancients.

This will be the first album to feature the group's new lineup, including the addition of vocalist Jonathan Huber and second guitarist Kevin Schwartz, who've been playing with the guys on recent US and European tours with DEICIDE and OBITUARY. The album will be produced and mixed by Daniel Castleman (IMPENDING DOOM, WINDS OF PLAGUE) over the next month for an anticipated fall release date.

"I'm very excited to be back in the studio. Producer Daniel Castleman has done some of the best and heavy recordings out there," states drummer Dave Astor. "This will be the tightest and heaviest recording we have ever done. The new material we wrote is more thought-out and way more brutal then anything that we have ever written. We're doing the same brutal music as we have always done. We just made the breakdowns heavier, the fast parts faster, and the slow parts slower."

Pathology have announced their next US and Canadian run, opening for GRAVE and BLOOD RED THRONE, beginning August 30th in Tampa, Florida. Dates listed below:
