It was announced back in March that ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian would miss eight tour dates in July, while his wife is expecting a baby. SEPUTURA's Andreas Kisser was tapped to fill in during Ian's time away and he made his live debut with Anthrax on July 2nd in Gelsenkirchen, Germany at Veltins Arena as part of a Big Four show featuring METALLICA, MEGADETH and SLAYER.

Scott Ian will return to Anthrax on July 23rd for Heavy T.O., followed by heavy MTL in Montreal, Quebec on July 24th.

Worship Music, the long-awaited new studio album from ANTHRAX, one of the four original architects of speed and thrash-metal, has been confirmed for a September 13th release date on Megaforce Records (the album is expected to be released on September 12th in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records).

Ian recently issued the following Twitter update: "Worship Music is finished. I just listened to it LOUD in sequence. Our 10th studio record is fucking killer. September 13th my friends. Cheers!"
