SLASH Gets Animated For Disney's Phineas And Ferb Movie; First Image Revealed, 'Kick It Up A Notch' Video To Premier July 22nd

SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES), has co-written and recorded a track for the upcoming Phineas And Ferb The Movie: Across The 2nd Dimension, premiering Friday, August 5th at 8 PM on Disney Channel, and on Saturday, August 13th at 8 PM on Disney XD.

Slash previously stated: "I co-wrote and performed a song for my guilty pleasure, Phineas And Ferb recently. Its coming out in August. Very R&R.; Even for a cartoon! Its actually a song for the new feature length Phineas And Ferb movie. I will be in the animated video to launch the movie as well. Pretty cool."

Walt Disney Records will release the soundtrack to Phineas And Ferb: Across The 1st And 2nd Dimensions, on August 2nd, 2011. The album features 7 new songs and the end credit track, 'Kick It Up A Notch', the Phineas And Ferb collaboration with Slash. The soundtrack also includes 15 songs from the hit animated series.

The 'Kick It Up A Notch' music video opens with a live-action segment of Slash plugging his Gibson Les Paul guitar into an amp. An electric current travels through the wire and Slash becomes animated and is joined on stage by Phineas And Ferb. The video will debut July 22nd on Disney Channel.
