SEBASTIAN BACH has posted a photo at his Facebook page, from the set of Rock Of Ages, next summer's big-screen adaptation of the hit Broadway jukebox musical that celebrates the '80s heyday of power ballads and glam metal.

Says Bach: "Evil Rock Singers Burn In Hell. On the set in Miami shooting Rock Of Ages all night with Nuno Bettencourt (EXTREME) , some nuns, bikers, and rockers all on an amazing set that looks exactly like Hollywood. No midgets though, sadly."

The Rock of Ages cast includes Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alec Baldwin. Diego Boneta will be making his feature film debut with a starring role in Rock of Ages.

The musical features rock numbers by DEF LEPPARD, JOAN JETT, JOURNEY, FOREIGNER, BON JOVI, NIGHT RANGER, REO SPEEDWAGON, PAT BENATAR, TWISTED SISTER, POISON and WHITESNAKE.

Filming is currently underway in Florida. New Line has set a June 1st, 2012 release date.

In Rock Of Ages, Cruise transforms into Stacee Jaxx, a superstar devotee of hair-band excess. Check out the first photo of Cruise below:

"His character has elements of Axl Rose, Keith Richards and Bret Michaels," director Adam Shankman tells USATODAY.com from the film's Miami set. "We did a huge amount of research on what people were going through in this period." He also relied on personal experience. "I knew a lot of these people because my dad was a music business manager."

Sebastian Bach will release his new album, Kicking & Screaming, on September 27 via Frontiers Records. The first digital single from the album is the title track 'Kicking & Screaming' and it will be released on August 23rd.

The album was produced by Bob Marlette, and mastered at Precision Mastering in Los Angeles with Tom Baker. Kicking & Screaming features guitarist Nick Sterling and drummer Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, RIOT, ICED EARTH). Check out the album artwork below:
