Dutch technical metal band TEXTURES have announced the title of their new album, Dualism, which will see its release in Europe, South America, Australia and Asia on September 23rd, and in North America on September 27th via Nuclear Blast Records.

The album was recorded at Split Second Sound Studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and was produced by the band’s guitar player, Jochem Jacobs. The first single, 'Reaching Home', will be released on August 19th through all major download sites.

The artwork of the album was designed by former Textures’ frontman Eric Kalsbeek and the band’s bass player Remko Tielemans.

Eric had the following to say: "The guys asked me to co-create the artwork together with Remko, for good old times' sake. Of course I said yes! I might not be in the band anymore, but I'm still involved in some ways. We're still pretty close, you know. It was a challenge, it had to be 'different' but still Textures-like. Hope you like it!"

We’ll join the Frak the Gods tour together with PERIPHERY, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT and THE CONTORTIONIST which will take us through the US and a few places in Canada.

Following are two special European release shows. The first will be during EuroBlast in Germany on October 22nd, where we will perform alongside MNEMIC, TESSERACT and MONUMENTS. The second is our hometown on October 23rd at The Mezz in Breda with Tessaract and local heroes WHEN ALL LIGHT DIES.

In November we will play some more Dutch shows together with FACE TOMORROW and STEAK NUMBER EIGHT before returning to the UK and France for the first time in over two years. We will co-headline an 8-date run together with our friends from THE OCEAN with the talented ALIASES as opening act and a single Paris date with The Ocean supporting.
