AEROSMITH entered guitarist Joe Perry's home studio (The Boneyard) outside of Boston recently with veteran producer Jack Douglas to begin recording their long-awaited 14th studio album. Douglas worked on such classic Aerosmith albums as 1974's Get Your Wings, 1975's Toys In The Attic, and 1976's Rocks. He also collaborated with the band on its 2004 collection of blues standards Honkin' On Bobo.

A short video from The Boneyard can be viewed below:

Aerosmith's new album will be recorded at The Boneyard - the Massachusetts studio the band built six years ago expressly to work with Douglas - Perry said recently. The band held an eight-day writing session earlier this year in California with producer/writing partner Marti Frederiksen.
