Check out a clip of the band in the studio tracking the new effort, alongside some live performance footage, below:
The band states: "We are extremely proud to be a part of the Sumerian family. We deeply respect each band on the label and most of them influenced our own music. Sumerian has few bands, they carefully pick and choose some of the greatest bands there is, so being with them is an honor. We couldn't DREAM of a better team to work with our music. You live in North America? If you already know us, be ready cause we will hit your town very soon! And if you don't know us, come by and see what 6 frog eaters can do (pardon our french). We count on you to come hang out, have a good time, mosh, pray, have a baguette and a croissant and discuss with us."
Ash Avildsen (Sumerian Records Founder) further comments: "A period of radical social and political upheaval began 222 years ago, known as The French Revolution. Today, another revolution from France is beginning. This time, it involves overthrowing that which has become stagnant. Betraying The Martyrs debut album, Breathe In Life, is going to breathe life in to a scene where emotion has fallen to the wayside and the focus has become on the breakdown rather than the song. The Sphinx has landed in Paris and it's sounding real good right now. Sumerian Records has signed Betraying The Martyrs, because of YOU."
