Athens, Ohio's SKELETONWITCH have announced October 11th as the release date for their new album, Forever Abomination. Be sure to check out ForeverAbomination.com for the latest updates on the album and pre-order information.

The band has been in Los Angeles recording the follow-up to 2009's Breathing The Fire, with producer Matt Hyde (SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, KREATOR). The album features the track 'The Infernal Resurrection', the demo version of which appears as the B-side on the final 7-inch of a limited-edition vinyl trilogy (pictured below), which is now shipping from Prosthetic Records' webstore.

As previously announced, Skeletonwitch are participating in a fall North American tour along with ARCH ENEMY, DEVILDRIVER and CHTHONIC, and have just confirmed off date shows along with DevilDriver. The band will playing several Midwestern shows next week, before heading to Europe for a run of dates which include performances at several of the continent's biggest metal festivals.
