CHILDREN OF BODOM Cancel Global East Festival Appearance In Ukraine

CHILDREN OF BODOM have been forced to cancel their performance at the Global East Festival in Ukraine due to the local promoter not being able to fulfill his end of the contract. According to an update: "The band regrets not being able to play for their Ukrainian fans and hopes to receive another opportunity to play in Ukraine soon."
BraveWords.com caught up with COB bass player Henkka Seppala during their recent Canadian trek. About the response to their new album, Relentless Reckless Forever, the band are pleased.
“These good reviews are amazing to us actually, because usually you don’t get good reviews for a new album,” Seppala explains. “Usually when you have a new album out, you hear mostly the negative reviews. But with this one, we’re hearing mostly positive ones. Which feels really strange for us (laughs). We’re used to getting the bad ones. And I think that’s very normal for bands that have several albums out. You’re always compared to your old stuff and no one is happy. We’ve been surprised how this album has been getting positive reviews.”Read the entire interview here.
