SHADED ENMITY To Release New Album This Month

Seattle, WA-based melodic death metal band SHADED ENMITY will be releasing their follow up to 2009's Like Prayers On Deaf Ears, this August. The new album is titled, Hijo Perdido. which means "Lost Son" in Spanish.

Recorded in 2010 by Don Gunn at 2 Sticks Audio in Seattle, the band tapped Aaron Smith from the band 7 HORNS 7 EYES to mix

and master Hijo Perdido. The album, set for an August release, contains 8 songs covering topics of suicide, depression,

incest, sexual abuse within the Catholic church, and addiction to methamphetamine. The band worked with Van Williams (ex-NEVERMORE) to complete the artwork for the album. Van also did the artwork to the 2009 release, Like Prayers On Deaf Ears.

Shaded Enmity includes members of the bands INQUINOK, SOMNAE and SERPENS AEON. In addition, Joe Nurre filled in on guitar for the band Nevermore on the 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise in 2011.
