THE BROWNING Seek Fans For 'Bloodlust' Video Shoot
August 2, 2011, 13 years ago
Texas' THE BROWNING are due to film a new music video, for the track 'Bloodlust', which is taken from the band's forthcoming new album, Burn This World, and you could appear in the video!
The band will be filming part of the video at Dad's Venue in Lewisville, Texas, and they need fans to turn up for a nightclub rave scene. For a chance to be in the video, fans simply need to be at the venue from 12 to 5 PM on Saturday, August 6th and to dress accordingly. As a special way of saying thanks, fans who turn up for the video shoot will also be treated to an exclusive listening party where they can hear the entire new album.
Frontman Jonny McBee comments: "We are super stoked to be working with Chris Collins on the music video for 'Bloodlust'! 'Bloodlust' is an extremely heavy, hard-hitting, techno metal song! Chris does an awesome job going over the top with effects and will make this video exactly what we are looking for! August 6th we will be shooting a scene for the music video at Dad's Venue in Lewisville, Texas. We need some extras, so if you have some extra time, come down! We will also be previewing the entire album that night to everyone that comes! Hope to see you there! Stoked for this video!"
The Browning are preparing for the release of their debut album, titled Burn This World, which is due to hit stores on October 3rd in Europe and October 4th in North America.
The new track, 'Not Alone', is currently streaming at the band's Facebook page.
In line with the band's electronic elements, one of their fan-favourite tracks, 'Time Will Tell' - which was featured on a recent digital EP and has been re-recorded for the new album - has been remixed by internationally acclaimed Scottish DJ and music producer, Scott Brown.
Jonny McBee states: "The Browning fuses hardstyle and metal because they are both aggressive, hard-hitting styles of music. Working with a well-known master of hardstyle was something I always wanted! I used to listen to Scott Brown back in the day and to have him doing an amazing remix of my band's music was monumental! Scott Brown creates the hard-hitting techno that I have always loved and people like him are what inspired this band in the first place!"

As previously reported, the first ever Metal, Arise! Tour, for developing metal artists, has been announced by Kelly Kapp, Vice President, House Of Blues Entertainment. The debut tour will feature Metal Blade act ALLEGAEON, Earache act The Browning, and Century Media Recording act THE DEVASTATED.
Here's what the bands have to say about their involvement on the inaugural Metal, Arise! Tour:
"We're all really excited for the announcement of the Metal, Arise! Tour. The majority of the dates are in cities we haven't yet had the pleasure of playing. With all the venues being as reputable as they are and it being a tour with companies such as Live Nation, IndieMerchCo and the labels backing it, there couldn't be a better tour for us to be a part of at the moment." - Allegaeon
"I think a lot of kids are going to be excited about seeing us and the other bands on the tour. We're three new bands who all bring something to the table that's going to make for a killer show. It's going to be the sort of tour where kids can discover new bands and proudly say: 'I saw them back then!" - The Devastated
"It's a pleasure and an honor for The Browning to be featured on The Metal, Arise! Tour! What a great opportunity for us to be performing alongside such amazing talent and working with some awesome companies in the industry. We can't wait to get out there and show the metal community what we're made of, meet some new people, and broaden our fan base. We're coming for you!" - The Browning
