Chicago thrashers DIAMOND PLATE are set to release their debut album, Generation Why?, on August 9th in North America and August 29th in Europe.

Generation Why? was Produced by Neil Kernon (JUDAS PRIEST, NEVERMORE, DEICIDE, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD) at RaxTrax Studios in the band's hometown.

Diamond Plate are hosting a record release show and music video shoot for Generation Why?, on August 19th. The band will be joined by HIGH SPIRITS, LICH KING, VINDICATOR, and TERROR IN HIS PRESENCE.

The official album release show for the young metal four-piece will be held at Reggie's Rockclub in their hometown of Chicago, and fans are invited to be a part of Diamond Plate's first music video. Be sure to bring the circle pit and tons of energy to this live show/performance style video for the thrash anthem, 'At The Mountains Of Madness'. Shooting begins at 2 PM and all are welcome to come down to the venue.
