DREAM THEATER have released a snippet of the new song, 'Bridges In The Sky', to be featured on the band's new studio album, A Dramatic Turn Of Events, out on September 13th via Roadrunner Records. Listen to the sample of the new track at this location.

In the following video interview (in two parts), filmed at High Voltage Festival in London in July, Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie discusses longtime drummer Mike Portnoy's replacement, Mike Mangini, as well as the band's upcoming new studio album:

Mike Mangini has posted the following Facebook update from the band's European tour:

"I'm stunned at the crowds on this tour. I really am having so much fun that I can't wait to get back on stage. One more show: Budapest. As the rest of shows were too, the Athens crowd just rocked the Earth all the way to Africa tonight. EVERY crowd has simply gotten the band's message loud and clear and I'm so happy to be a part of all this joy."

Dream Theater return, stronger than ever, with their most powerful album yet, A Dramatic Turn Of Events. The much-anticipated platter, which marks new drummer Mike Mangini's recorded debut, will be released via Roadrunner Records on September 13th and will be supported by an initial string of North American dates with TRIVIUM in tow.

"We are all very pumped about the release of A Dramatic Turn of Events this September, as well as the world tour we'll embark upon in support of the album," said guitarist John Petrucci. "Our first leg will bring us throughout North America where we'll showcase songs from the new album along with tons of fan favorites and a brand new tour production unlike any other that we've done before. We're equally excited to have our friends in Trivium join us. It's sure to be an incredible tour. We're looking forward to seeing all of our friends on the road this fall!"
