Vocalist Sebastian Bach (ex-SKID ROW) is featured in a new interview with Denise Britt at Sonic Shocks. An excerpt is available below:

Q: What does this new record mean to you?

Bach: "Well you know all I want to do is put more songs in your iPod to go with the songs you already have in there like 'Youth Gone Wild', 'Monkey Business' and '18 and Life'. I really feel like Kicking and Screaming the whole album is….if you liked Slave To The Grind and Angel Down and the Skid Row albums, you’re going to like this album. I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel or anything; I’m just trying to make another kick ass rock and roll record. I’m very, very happy with it."

Q: To be honest, you WERE Skid Row, no one else in the band existed for me. Now I see that Skid Row is out and about again with a new singer. Does that bother you?

Bach: It bothers me because they are wrecking the name. If they called themselves something different then we could save the name of Skid Row as something cool. But whatever, I can’t control it."

Q: Did you enjoy doing Broadway?

Bach: "I loved doing Jekyll and Hyde. That was my favorite one. Jesus Christ Superstar was harder, was not as fun. Who knows, maybe I will do another one in the future."

'Kicking & Screaming', the first video and title track from SEBASTIAN BACH's forthcoming album of the same name, can be seen at this location.

Of the new video and single, Bach commented, "I could not be happier with the video for 'Kicking & Screaming'. Director Devin DeHaven did a great job and this video has a lot of energy and power, just like the song. Plus, this video is FUN! Just what rock n' roll is about."

Bach will release Kicking & Screaming on September 23rd in Europe and on September 27th in North America via Frontiers Records.

The first digital single from the album is the title track 'Kicking & Screaming' and it will be released on August 23rd.

The album was produced by Bob Marlette, and mastered at Precision Mastering in Los Angeles with Tom Baker. Kicking & Screaming features guitarist Nick Sterling and drummer Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, RIOT, ICED EARTH). Check out the album artwork below:

A recent update from Bach states: "Just approved final gatefold sleeve for vinyl edition of Kicking & Screaming. Man did I have fun. It is so cool that vinyl is making a comeback and I can't believe we are releasing a gatefold album cover in 2011.

The packaging is perfect and I can't wait to hear the music analog style on my turntable!

Also approved the deluxe CD/DVD edition! Can't tell you the details on this yet but stay tuned because the DVD included in the deluxe edition will blow you all away. It's way beyond what I could have imagined. Could not be more proud and stoked for you all to watch this DVD, it is amazingly put together and the quality is superb!"
