PRIMAL FEAR check in from the studio, where the band are recording their new album, Unbreakable:

"Just a short newsbreak from the recording studio - at the moment we're tracking guitars and bass. Everything works out great. Be prepared for some original Primal Fear riffs and overall it sounds very very promising. After the Wacken weekend was so much fun, we're really looking forward to the shows in Poland and the Metal Hammer Award show in Berlin.

In other news, we've extended our contract with Warner/Chappell for another three albums - a good sign in these days, that you can work with a company for over 13 years now and still be creative and friendly!"

Primal Fear drummer Randy Black recently posted drum cam footage from the band's performance at the 2011 edition of the Wacken Open Air, which took place in Wacken, Germany from August 4th - 6th. Check it out below:

Primal Fear vocalist Ralf Scheepers recently posted another short studio update online via Facebook. Check it out here.

Scheepers: "I've just recorded my vocals for another track of our upcoming album, Unbreakable, here at home in my studio. I have also filmed a short line for you to witness my work... I hope you like it. Have a great weekend, my friends!"

Unbreakable will be released on January 20th, 2012 via Frontiers Records. The first official video blog from the studio can be seen below:

Titles of some of the new songs include 'Give 'Em Hell', 'And There Was Silence', 'Where Angels Die', 'Born Again' and 'Strike'. The album will be produced by bassist Mat Sinner and engineered by Achim Koehler. All songs were written by Primal Fear.
