2012 Rockstad: Falun Festival Scheduled For August

The 2012 edition of the Rockstad: Falun Festival is scheduled for August 16th - 18th at Lugnet Falun, in Falun, Sweden.
Organizers have issued the following update:
"We have decided to move our festival from the beginning of the summer, to the end, and Rockstad: Falun will be held on August 16th - 18th, at our beautiful location: Lugnet Falun.The reasons are many, but mostly, we made the decision in consultation with our friends in Örebro who are promoting Metallsvenskan. It turned out they had already laid the groundwork for their event on the same date that we chose at the end of May and they had no way to change the date, as we have.
Of course, we do not want to collide with any similar event, and especially not with Metallsvenskan, which is just a stone’s throw away from Falun.
Another good reason is that we become less dependent of the weather, it’s always warmer in August than it is in May and our camp will be well off with a dry pleasant summer before all the tents are put up.
There are a few more good reasons, but we would love to come back with details as soon as everything is 100% set in stone.
Tickets for Rockstad: Falun will be released shortly and as usual it will pay off well to get the first ones, most of all this time!"
