Police Continue Search For Knife In New Zealand Death Metal Murder

According to Stuff.co.nz, a walking track in Belmont Regional Park (park located between Lower Hutt and Porirua, New Zealand) has been closed as police use metal detectors to search for a knife connected to the murder of Wellington man Matthew Hall, 35.
The BACKYARD BURIAL singer was stabbed to death while he slept in his rented bungalow in Broderick Rd, Johnsonville, on February 15.
The officer in charge, Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton, said a search was done yesterday in the Korokoro stream area in Lower Hutt.
Police will not search today but may return later.
Nothing of significance was found.
In April, it was reported that Timothy Parlane, 27, of Lower Hutt, had told a woman he was dating that he had murdered Mr Hall.
Hours after he was released from police questioning, he was hit by a train and killed.
