GWAR frontman and lead throat thing Oderus Urungus has just been confirmed to be a featured cast member on FEARnet's first original series, Holliston. Oderus Urungus joins TWISTED SISTER's Dee Snider as well as stars Adam Green and Joe Lynch on the offbeat multicamera buddy comedy series created by Green.

Described as The Big Bang Theory meets Evil Dead II, the show is set in the town of Holliston, Mass., and follows the lives of Adam (Green) and Joe (Lynch), two friends chasing the dream of becoming successful horror movie filmmakers while struggling to make ends meet in their post-college jobs at a Boston cable access station where they also host a late-night movie program called The Movie Crypt. Urungus will play himself and is Adam's "imaginary" friend who happens to live in a closet and gives him advice that is extremely misguided and offensive. The six-episode series is slated to begin production in September.

"I am pleased beyond belief that the human race, and FEARnet, has finally recognized my acting ability and hired me as the star of Holliston," said Oderus, apparently unaware that he is playing a supporting role. "With Dee Snider on the cast, it's essential to have somebody that brings class to the proceedings... that class is me."

GWAR’s Slave Pit studios has announced the completion of the Blood Vomits-A Very Good Man, and scheduled the animated short to debut on GWAR lead singer's Oderus Urungus’s upcoming Crack-a-Thon, his annual web-based fundraising drive, which is slated to occur September 2nd and 3rd at the MF Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.

Oderus commented: "After months of intensive labor, the slaves have finally finished the new episode of the Blood Vomits. We sneak previewed it yesterday at the Slave Pit. Unfortunately an earthquake occurred and the TV fell out a window. So I haven't seen it yet either!"

Oderus supplies the voice for the shows main character, Mad Dog.

The Blood Vomits is an animated comedy series which follows the adventures of Mad Dog, Nails, and The Vicar, as they bumble their way through a violent and miserable medieval world. The all-star cast also includes Randy Blythe of LAMB OF GOD as the "Nails" and Tony Foresta of MUNICIPAL WASTE as "The Vicar".
