SAMMY HAGAR To Take Part In Hometown Fontana's 100th Birthday Party

According to Russell Ingold from Fontanaheraldnews.com, SAMMY HAGAR (CHICKENFOOT, ex-VAN HALEN, MONTROSE) will be taking part in Fontana, California's (in San Bernardino County) 100th birthday bash that will be held in June 2013.
What started off as a tiny agricultural town has become a city of close to 200,000 inhabitants and Hagar will be returning to his hometown to serve as the grand marshal of the Fontana Days Parade.
There will surely be many more exciting aspects of Fontana’s 100th anniversary event, and all Fontanans (past and present) are being invited to help with the coordination of the grand occasion. The first planning session will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. at the conference room at City Hall.
