September 1, 2011, 13 years ago
AMORAL invite fans to "join us at Bar Bäkkäri in Helsinki, Finland on Tuesday, October 4th for a pre-listening party of Beneath. The album will be spinned a few times in it's entirety during the evening, starting at 7pm. We'll be there to enjoy a few cold ones, bask in your compliments and take the (hopefully) verbal punches of those dissappointed."
In live news, Amoral will be touring in Finland this winter to promote Beneath. The first couple of shows announced are as follows:
October
21 - Jack The Rooster - Tampere, Finland (as part of Lost In Music Expo)November
11 - On The Rocks - Helsinki, FinlandAmoral are streaming another new song from their upcoming fifth album, Beneath. The new song, '(Won't Go) Home', with it's riff-oriented structure and growling vocals, represents the heavier side of the new album.
"'(Won't Go) Home' is a heavy and technical track through and through", singer Ari Koivunen says. "Masi's (Hukari, guitar) Indian-flavored solo is also one of my favourites. Vocal-wise this song was the hardest to pull off, as my voice was pretty blown after two weeks of singing in the studio. I ended up recording the vocals by myself during the small hours, and I'm very happy with the results."'(Won't Go) Home', as well as the previously released song, 'Same Difference', can be heard below:
Beneath was recorded at Sound Supreme studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland, and was produced by Janne Saksa and guitarist Ben Varon.
