Japan's BLOOD STAIN CHILD - featuring Greek female vocalist Sophia - are currently on tour in Japan. Following is Sophia's latest update from the road:

"On August 24th, we appeared at Club Fleez in Gunma. I loved the sound of my vocals there, it was so clear and I could hear exactly what I was singing. All the bands of that night were female-fronted. I liked the vocalist of FLOWERS FOR THE BROKEN SPIRIT. Her death vocals were really emotional, I was moved.

Next show was Niigata, Club Riverst. I have to admit that the show was really explosive. Fans got very wild that night! Special thanks to the amazing owner and the amazing DJ of the club, cos they did something I didn't expect. Just before BSC got onstage, they started playing Greece's national anthem! I was like 'Is it just me, or do I hear our national anthem?' I admit I was taken by surprise and I felt rather nostalgic cos I always miss Greece when I'm not there. They also played the battle theme of Revolutionary Girl Utena, which is my nickname.

One of the bands that played that night was called CIRCLE OF DESTRUCTION and they did a cover of BSC's 'Final Sky', which is funny cos we play the same song in our shows always. During their performance, Ryo stormed onstage and he growled together with the vocalist, it was amazing to watch! Keep up the good work guys!"
