Greece's Rock Overdose has issued an interview with leader Lord Ahriman of Swedish black metallers DARK FUNERAL. An excerpt follows:

Q: So, new members for Dark Funeral. It seems like a new era or something that… just happened?

A: "Indeed! With two new maniacs in the band, Nachtgarm on vocals and Zornheym on bass, a new dark era as well as a new hellish chapter in the saga of Dark Funeral has begun."

Q: Many live shows lately. Tell us about your upcoming appearances.

A: "We haven"t start touring yet, and many confirmed gigs are still to be announced, while even more are being confirmed as we speak. With new and fresh blood in the band, and approximately a year off the road, it has for sure fueled my/our hunger to hit the road and set stages all over the world on fire (again)! After quite a few months of intense rehearsals it feels like we are tighter and do sound better than ever before. So, once we kick off touring again, on October 6th, we will be like an infernal war machine that will crush everything in its path."

Earlier this week, Lord Ahriman issued the following update:

"Since the question has come up quite a few times in recent months, I guess it is about time we make it all official: Yes, we have left Regain Records.

Time went by and we didn't see any future whatsoever to continue to work with them. At this point in time we have not signed to a new label, but negotiations are currently taking place. And until we have signed a new deal, we are open to any and all offers that comes our way."
