CBS Street Date spoke with MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine recently about the 25th anniversary reissue of Peace Sells... But Who's Buying, the band's new album TH1RT3EN and tour plans.

Mustaine revealed about the upcoming "killing road" plans: "This year coming up we're gonna be having us, MOTÖRHEAD, a great band that's coming up called VOLBEAT and LACUNA COIL. A lot of people just want to see my band METALLICA. That's all they want to see. I like the Big 4 idea a little bit more myself. I would certainly do a two-band tour if it was Metallica and Megadeth. I'm looking forward to the time when me and Lars (Ulrich) and James (Hetfield) and David Ellefson make a record together.

I remember when Cliff (Burton) died and there was a moment where Dave's name had come up and I was a little concerned. I didn't wanna lose my bassist and I certainly didn't wanna have another reason to be upset. God knows I had my reasons, even though they weren't all real. A lot of them were caused by myself. I just don't think I would have done well if I would have known that that happened. And fortunately for me, I think those guys took that into account and just said, 'Let's find someone else,' and they found Jason (Newsted)."
