OPETH, PORCUPINE TREE Members Complete Work On STORM CORROSION Album

The long awaited collaboration between OPETH mainman Mikael Åkerfeldt and PORCUPINE TREE's Steven Wilson is finally being completed. The project goes under the name of STORM CORROSION and will have a self-titled record out in April 2012 through a yet unnamed label.
According to a press release, "this album could be seen as the final part in the odd trilogy of records completed by Opeth's new album Heritage and Steven Wilson's brand new solo album Grace For Drowning."
Steven Wilson produced and contributed backing vocals, guitar and keyboards for OPETH on the albums Blackwater Park, Deliverance, and Damnation.
