DILANA (aka Rock Star: SUPERNOVA contestant Dilana Robichaux) is rumored to be joining L.A. GUNS. Tracii Guns joined the singer and her band on stage at Brixton Club in Redondo Beach over the weekend (see photo below), and issued the following update:

"Ya, I went to check her out at the Brixton club in Redondo Beach. I jammed 'Whole Lotta Love' with her band, was pretty cool we are seeing three singers on Thursday and playing Guns tunes with them, Dilana included, so no desicion has been made yet."

Tracii Guns previously issued the following statement:

"I met with Dilana (pictured below) last night, she was actually pretty smart and down to earth, we had a long conversation and Jeremy (Guns - Tracii's son and bass player) was there.

If Dilana were to end up in L.A. Guns it would be because I like her based on our chemistry and her ability to sing the L.A. Guns songs appropriately, I won't make a judgement on her based on someone's opinion of her on Rockstar Supernova (the 2006 reality TV show that saw MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee, former METALLICA bassist Jason Newsted, and ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke choose Lukas Rossi over Dilana as their singer for an ill-fated supergroup). Honestly , I wouldn't mind having a woman sing for L.A. Guns. I like newness."

Previous L.A. Guns singer Jizzy Pearl quit the band earlier this month and offered the following explanation: "After an amazing two years in L.A. Guns I have decided to move on. This decision was not based on anger or animosity - I have nothing but respect for Tracii and the guys. They can and will carry on better than ever. I wish all good luck and good music in the future."

Today, September 27th, L.A. Guns release Acoustic Gypsy Live (with Jizzy Pearl on vocals). The tracklisting is as follows:
