Perth, Australia-based hard rock band DIAMOND EYE capped off a stellar week with an appearance on Perth, Western

Australia’s Channel 7 Telethon charity broadcast on Sunday, getting the studio audience excited with a blazing rendition of ‘Sound Of The Guns’, the title track to their new EP and recent nominee for the Western Australian Music Industry’s Song Of The Year – Metal category.

The Sound Of The Guns EP was launched at Perth’s Amplifier Bar on Friday night to a strong crowd of die-hards and new faces, and is now available for purchase here and via iTunes.

Channel 7’s Telethon, now in it’s 33rd year, has raised over $103 million for charity, and this year featured special guest headliners DEF LEPPARD, who rescheduled their Australian tour dates in order to take part.

Telethon crossed live to Def Leppard’s Saturday night Perth concert, and the band performed an acoustic rendition of ‘Two Steps Behind’ in the studio to close out the telecast, which raised over 13 million dollars for charity.
