OUTSHINE Reveal First New Album Details; Teaser Available

Swedish hard rock/metal band OUTSHINE have entered the studio Grand Recordings in Gothenburg, Sweden in August 2011 to start the recording of the not yet titled new album. The album will be mixed and produced by Svein Jensen (M.A.N., SISTER SIN, HIDE THE KNIVES, TROUBLEMAKERS, DEVILICIOUS) and Jimmy Norberg (Dead Tree Music, Outshine) and will be released by Dead Tree Music in collaboration with an not yet decided label.
The band will start the launch of the new album by releasing a album teaser video in collaboration with Affliction Clothing and Dee Jee Fashion Trading on October 18th. See the new teaser below:
The release of the first single, together with a video is planned to November 2011.
Jimmy Norberg on the new album: "The new album, written as an album (not just nine-ten songs put together), is more direct, straight forward and has a very dark and melodic touch to it. It's recorded in an analog studio because we believe that todays digitally mastered and mixed albums loses a bit of the essence and soul in the music. We wanted it alive. Some new influences is implemented in the Outshine sound 2011, it's very heavy and it feels like we´ve found the perfect set-up for an Outshine album."
