VENGEANCE Founder Launches SERIOUS - "Raw But Polished And Fierce Yet Gentle"

Jan Bijlsma, founder of legendary Dutch rock band VENGEANCE has done it again. Back with a whole new and modern band called SERIOUS, the first full HD video clip was released a little over a month ago (see below) as a prelude to what’s coming.
According to a press release, "the album is ready and being mixed by Oscar Holleman (WITHIN TEMPTATION, AYREON, GOREFEST, MY FAVORITE SCAR) with whom Jan founded the ‘old band’ years back. It was time to do something new and modern and be very SeriouS about it…time never stops and neither does style development and influences in music.
The past has been very educational and has built up to what this band brings. Right now, we are in the process of talking and negotiating with several parties in the industry and there’s still room for others to sit down at the table while in the meantime this first album is being finished. The combination of rough-edged double barrel guitar-parts and a strong sense for melody in the vocals all adds up to the unique sound of SeriouS: raw but polished and fierce yet gentle."
