METALLICA's Bangalore Fans Lose "Precious Belongings"

According to Hindustantimes.com, the METALLICA concert in Bangalore may have been a sweeping success with 34,900 fans but, for a hundred odd concert goers, it became a nightmare. Fans who were carrying backpacks to the venue were asked to pile them up in an unguarded open field near the main concert area, and found their stuff missing when they came out. iPods, laptops, passports and MP3 players were gone.
Those affected are now being slammed by others as ‘irresponsible’ for even thinking of carrying precious personal belongings, when the ticket clearly said baggage wouldn’t be allowed.
A debate over who is at fault - the organisers or the fans - has broken out on social networking sites.
