GORGOROTH have embarked on the band's longest tour yet, namely The Sign Of Hell Tour 2011, to promote their latest recording, Under The Sign Of Hell 2011.

An update from the band states: "Gorgoroth's new album, Under The Sign Of Hell 2011, has now finally been pressed and CDs will be sold at the merchandise booths at the upcoming concerts of the European tour. The band has only a limited amount of CDs available for sale so they will only be available for purchase while stocks last. An official wide release date to stores will be announced when details on this are provided by Regain Records."

Infernus and Gorgoroth were informed recently by Regain Records that because of the label's current financial situation, it will once again be necessary for the label to postpone the release of Gorgoroth's upcoming album Under The Sign Of Hell 2011, which was scheduled for release on August 29th.

According to a Gorgoroth update, "the master tapes were handed over to Regain by the band in April this year, and so it is of course very disappointing for the band that the label for the second time is not able to meet the set release date. Therefore, to avoid this happening again, no new release date will be given by the band until Regain can sort out their problems and provide a new date with 100% certainty."

As previously reported, on Under The Sign Of Hell 2011, Pest and Infernus repeat their roles as vocalist and guitarist/bassist, respectively, from the original 1996 recording, while Tomas Asklund does the drums.

As for the still-untitled next Gorgoroth album, consisting of new material: 66.6 % of the material has now been written, and work on the album is continuing at a steady pace. If all goes according to plan, the album will be recorded later this year.
