Cleveland, Ohio metal legends SHOK PARIS will headline the first night of the Up The Hammers VII festival, set to take place March 2-3, 2012 at the An Club in Athens, Greece. British folk-metal pioneers SKYCLAD will headline the second night, performing a special old school set of songs exclusively from their first four albums.

"Just four short months to go before Shok Paris invades Athens for the Up The Hammers festival", says vocalist Vic Hix. "We cannot wait! We have had so many fans who have contacted us from Greece. This is going to be a great time for both our fans and the band. I am sure the Greek gods of the past are smilling down on us all and even they can't wait for the show to start. See ya soon!"

Shok Paris will be the first band from the Auburn Records label roster to perform in Greece.

"I am as excited, if not more, than the Shok Paris guys to finally have the opportunity to bring one of my Cleveland bands to Greece", says Auburn Records president Bill Peters. "This has been over 25 years in the making and long overdue. The Greek fans have been so unbelievably supportive to my Auburn label and bands over the years. This is truly an honor for me to be invited. Special thanks to festival organizer Manolis Karazeris for making this dream come true for us."

This will be Shok Paris' third trip overseas. The band performed in Germany at the Bang Your Head!!! festival in 2004 and Headbangers Open Air festival in 2010. Their 2010 visit also included a German club tour with label mates ETERNAL LEGACY.

Shok Paris continues writing new material and will begin recording a new studio album, entitled "Full Metal Jacket", for Auburn early next year.
