TERROR SYNDROME drummer Ryan van Poederooyen (THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND) has issued the following update:

"I've just released a sample, high-quality Wave audio file, of 'Rusty Trombone' on Terror Syndrome's Souncloud page. This song is one of two instrumental songs from the Terror Syndrome album and this has never been released before to hear unless you bought the album. The song features Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT, ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO) and Trevor Dunn (MR. BUNGLE, FANTOMAS).

'Rusty Trombone' is a pretty special song to me because it was very different musically from the rest of the album, same with the other instrumental on the album -'Spinning Backwards' (featuring DEVIN TOWNSEND and MICHAEL MANRING). This song is all over the map musically, has amazing solos by Alex and Trevor and even a jazzy break down at the end of the tune. Devin Townsend did an amazing job mixing it and I'm VERY proud of the end result. I've had a ton of requests to release a MP3 sample of this tune, so here it is. Thanks for the support from those who have bought the record off of iTunes and various online distributors. Hope you enjoy the tune, I had a blast recording it!

New Terror Syndrome music coming soon."

Ryan previously issued the following update:

"Alright! Here it is.... a drum-cam of my side metal band, Terror Syndrome. This song is called 'Stupidity For All', it's the opening track off of our debut album.

I've had many messages/requests for a TS drum-cam on my YouTube page and Facebook page, so here it is. I decided to quickly record this in the DTP rehearsal spot after practicing some DTP material for our upcoming 2011 Canadian Tour.

I recorded the drums with my Zoom Q3HD and added the original Terror Syndrome track underneath the Drumcam audio on iMovie. I didn't have the luxury of using pro tools, so it's the stereo drum sound from the Q3HD and the full stereo TS track from the album underneath. Hope you guys dig it!

More TS Drumcams to come in the future when I have time off from the Devin Townsend Project ;) And, some new TS music too.... getting a new song with Dave Padden on vocals mixed soon."
