December 6, 2011, 12 years ago
Australian metallers of PEGAZUS have just returned from their very successful European headlining club tour, after being away from the European live-scene for 13 years. Founding member and guitarist Johnny Stoj about being back in Europe after so many years: "I can only say that I have been overwhelmed by all the great responses from the fans during this tour. We've got such a warm "welcome back" and it's the best feeling in the world to be back on those stages again. We definitely will be back in Europe soon!"
And vocalist Justin Fleming about the tour, which was for him the first time in Europe: "I had a blast! Europe kicks ass and you can be sure that Pegazus is fired up now! We have proven to be back in business with a great new album and this great tour. I thank the fans for sticking with us during all these years and we will not disappoint you. We will keep touring, hopefully we will be back in Europe very soon and we're also looking to all possibilities in other parts of the world. So, tell the promoters in your country to contact our management and the Thunder From Down Under will destroy some stages in your country as well!"
Just before they left for Europe, Pegazus filmed the video for 'Road Warrior'. The song has been taken from the band's latest album In Metal We Trust", which was released this past April 15.
The video was filmed on location in Melbourne, Australia in the same location and on the very same road that was used for the filming of the Australian classic movie Mad Max. It was directed again by Aaron McLoughlin and Judd Hyland, who were also responsible for the bands 'Haunting Me' video, released earlier this year.
